Advocacy and Teaching

Mia is passionate about knowledge moving into practice through teaching, facilitation and advocacy work. In addition to speaking and running workshops on socially entrepreneurial design practice, Mia also founded the Build Yourself+ Workshop, an action-based workshop training women in empowerment skills, and has helped develop and teach courses at Harvard University and Brown University on design, innovation and the built environment.
