Walden

This design installation and art exploration focuses on Walden Pond–both its landscape and its cultural meaning. The plexiglass and pebble model was made in collaboration with Emily McMillan, Connie Migliazzo, and Emily McMillan. The work investigate’s Henry David Thoreau’s interest in the surface of Walden Pond a a mirror for the sky, and extends it to the forest canopy and floor.
