One study framework: Areas for innovation.
A study framework: The Architecture practice model and areas for innovation.

Mia served as the Northeastern University Architecture Department’s first research fellow, investigating emerging and innovative architecture business practices.

Innovations within the ‘softer’ systems of the field, including emerging service offerings and pricing and organizational strategies are just as important as technological innovations, but receive much less attention and coverage. Through a theoretical framework of innovations within the field, and a deep dive through case studies of select practices, this study highlights innovations and entrepreneurial practice models within the architecture field and lays out a challenge for how the field might continue to reposition itself.
